Now that i think about it, i remember reading in a british magazine that Sakura Wars is being translated for release in the US and Europe next year. I'm not sure if this is true or not. But it is possible, there have been a lot of crazy Japanese games coming out lately, like Gitaroo Man and that game about the moscito. I'll check it up.

Eh, its doubtful. I gave up on US releases for Sakura Taisen years ago. Petitions dont seem to work, cuz I saw and signed for about 7 different ST related petitions. =/

After that Wiseman said about modchips, Ive been asking around again about stability of PS2 modchips. Hyper Game Action said they dont do PS2 modchips because of high risk, but Wanpaku, another import store nearby, said the risk isnt very high. It would save me couple hundred dollars if I get modchip, so Im going to try it and hope it works.

I think many people has it installed, otherwise there wouldn't be so much PS2 piracy in the dark places of the Net. Maybe $ony paid some stores to not install PS2 modchips. Maybe it IS, or it was, somewhat dangerous. I don't know, but I'm definitely going to chip mine in a few months to get imports (or else I'll have to wait FOREVER for some particular games). I don't remember if I said this already in this thread, I've heard the Messiah modchip works best.
